In 2025, MetaCraft partnered with Blockparty to craft the creative engine behind Bet9ja’s Football Carnival – a culture-first experience combining a 5-Aside Celebrity Champions Game with live music, fan challenges, and on-site betting engagement. Our remit covered the brand system (key visual) and social rollout.
The Challenge
Turn a one-day celebrity match into a signature Bet9ja moment – something that looks premium, travels fast on social, and feels unmistakably local. The work had to unite sport, music, and street culture while staying flexible for multiple talent lineups and venue realities.
Our Approach
We built a cohesive visual language that works before, during, and after the event:
Campaign Identity: A gritty, athletic system using Bet9ja greens with gold and red accents; dynamic brush textures; pitch-line geometry; and bold, 3D-ready titles.
Creative Ops: Modular templates so PR, social, and on-site teams could turn assets around in minutes (player swaps, schedule changes, sponsor adds).
Collaboration Model (Blockparty × Bet9ja × MetaCraft): Blockparty drove programming and talent; MetaCraft owned creative direction and design systems; Bet9ja aligned brand governance and distribution.
Shared pipelines, locked review windows, and editable assets kept everyone shipping on time.
Impact
Singular Look & Feel: A recognizable visual signature that linked every touchpoint into one Bet9ja narrative.
Brand Lift at the Event: Immersive, photogenic environments turned casual attendees into content creators, reinforcing Bet9ja’s role at the center of football culture.
