PROJECT OVERVIEW
MetaCraft partnered with Joeboy and his team to develop a cohesive visual system spanning tour promotion, motion assets, and live performance environments.
The work covered key visuals, animated formats, and stage screen elements across multiple touchpoints, beginning with the Body, Soul & Spirit EP rollout and extending into live show experiences. The challenge required translating an evolving artistic era into a consistent visual language that could operate at both digital and physical scale.
THE PROBLEM
The project required aligning multiple outputs — promotional visuals, motion formats, and live show environments — under a single visual direction while working within entertainment timelines. Each touchpoint needed to feel coherent without becoming repetitive, and assets had to scale across social platforms, music streaming requirements, and large-format stage screens. The challenge lay in balancing speed with consistency, ensuring that visual clarity was maintained even as the scope expanded and new deliverables emerged.
METACRAFT"S ROLE & APPROACH
MetaCraft led the visual system design across campaign and performance contexts. The work began by establishing a repeatable key visual foundation that could extend into motion, screen content, and physical event applications without losing cohesion.
Rather than treating deliverables as isolated outputs, the project was approached as an integrated framework where composition, typography, colour logic, and motion behaviours followed a shared set of rules.
This structure enabled variations for different announcements and environments while maintaining recognisability. Performance visuals were designed to support stage energy rather than dominate it, ensuring the live experience remained centred on the music. Animated formats, including album motion assets, were produced to meet platform requirements while staying consistent with the broader visual language.
OUTCOMES & ENABLEMENT
The project established a unified visual identity that could be deployed across promotional, digital, and live environments. This system enabled consistent rollout of new assets as tour moments evolved, reducing fragmentation across touchpoints.
Stage screen visuals provided a structured visual backdrop that enhanced the performance atmosphere, while motion adaptations ensured compatibility with platform-specific formats. The work created a scalable foundation that supported both immediate campaign needs and future extensions without requiring a redesign of the core language.
