As MetaCraft grows, we are investing in the internal systems and operational structure required to support a high-performing creative team. This role exists to ensure that the company runs smoothly behind the scenes so the creative team can focus on producing exceptional work.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Operations & People Lead to take ownership of MetaCraft’s internal organisation, team coordination, and operational systems.
This role sits at the centre of the studio and is responsible for ensuring that people, processes, and tools work together effectively. You will help structure how the company operates day-to-day while supporting a healthy, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
You will work closely with the founder and team leads to build the systems that allow MetaCraft to scale without operational chaos.
Core Responsibilities
Team Operations
Coordinate internal workflows and ensure teams stay aligned on priorities and timelines
Maintain clarity around responsibilities across design, marketing, and operations
Support the founder in tracking internal progress across projects and initiatives
Ensure meetings, updates, and internal communication remain organised and productive
People Operations
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors
Maintain internal documentation including employee records, contracts, and policies
Support performance conversations, team development, and internal feedback loops
Help foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing team culture
Internal Systems & Tools
Implement and maintain the tools used to run the company (e.g., project management, communication, documentation systems)
Improve how the team uses tools such as Slack, Notion, ClickUp, or similar platforms
Ensure information is organised and accessible across the company
Continuously refine workflows to remove friction and inefficiencies
Process Design
Document and refine internal processes for project delivery, communication, and team coordination
Identify operational gaps and propose improvements
Build scalable systems that support MetaCraft’s long-term growth
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist with internal planning, scheduling, and coordination
Ensure operational consistency across projects
Support the founder with operational decision-making and implementation
What We’re Looking For
Experience
Experience in operations, people operations, studio management, or project coordination
Experience working in creative studios, agencies, startups, or fast-moving environments is a strong advantage
Skills
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Ability to design and implement operational systems
Excellent communication and documentation ability
Comfort working across multiple teams and functions
Personal Qualities
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Calm and structured in fast-paced environments
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Comfortable bringing order and clarity to ambiguous situations
